New Features for NJ State Archives Databases!
- We now accept credit card payments from most databases and records request forms.
- Payment with check or money order is also available from shopping cart.
- You may combine up to 10 records from different databases and records request forms in a single order.
The searchable databases listed below provide access to over 2,350,000 database entries, indexing over 1,500,000 documents and photographs housed at the New Jersey State Archives. Database development is currently focused on 1848-1878 death records, early land records, and the records of the Supreme Court. Archives staff add and edit database entries daily. Please be sure to re-check this site often for new content.
New record request forms have been added for birth, marriage and death records; probate and county naturalization records; Revolutionary War and World War I records. Use these forms to request the Archives staff to search for records not currently indexed in searchable databases, based on the information you provide.
